Keep your own counsel this week. That is to say, if you don’t have anything to say, don’t say it just to take up space or to make others feel comfortable. You’re allowed to withhold your thoughts, your judgments, until the point where you’re ready to speak up. If your thoughts are a little heavier than usual, then that’s a good thing. It means you’re truly processing, perhaps for the first time in a long time. Sure, you’ll have a few hairy moments, especially come the weekend, where an adventure you thought was good to go isn’t necessarily turning out that way. Remember, rejection is redirection. Don’t get too downhearted. Look for the gaps, the lessons, and the growth.
